20 Years in Illustration: In Conversation with Lauren Child

Lauren Child is an award-winning author and illustrator, best known for the incredibly popular Charlie and Lola and Clarice Bean books. She has won numerous awards since her first books were published in 1999, including the Greenaway Medal, and she was the tenth Children's Laureate from 2017 - 2019. To mark 20 incredible years of writing and illustrating, Lauren will be sharing experiences and highlights of her career to date with Sarah Lawrance, Joint Chief Executive Officer of Seven Stories.
 

Drawing Words, the exhibition Lauren curated during her laureateship to celebrate illustration as an art form, will be open for viewing from 5pm. A drinks reception and booksigning will take place in the Bookshop following the conversation.

Tickets £5 per person. Each ticket includes one complimentary drink in the bookshop. This event is suitable for children aged 12 + to adults.
