Sense Explorers

We use our senses every day. But have you ever used them to make places better?

Engage your five senses with researcher Sean Peacock as we explore Ouseburn Valley and create some exciting ideas to make it an even better place to be. You will also be given some experimental technology to help you along the way.

The first hour of the workshop will involve a short walk around the Ouseburn (weather dependent) and the second hour will focus on crafty activities indoors, where the Sense Explorers will work in teams to bring their ideas to life. There will also be a short break with light refreshments provided.  Produced in partnership with Newcastle University
