All the World's a Stage

What was it like to go and see a play in Shakespeare’s day? What did you see, hear, and smell? Journey across the Thames to London’s Southbank, where Shakespeare’s famous Globe Playhouse stood in this interactive workshop to find out more about Elizabethan life at the theatre. Delivered as part of Shakespeare Week.

This event is produced in partnership with the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics at Newcastle University.

45 minute event aimed at children aged 5+ and their families. £3 per person (including children and adults). No general admission is required to attend the event, purchase day tickets to enjoy the rest of the building all day.
