Home Education Day

Home Education Day

First Monday in the month, 2 October, 6 November & 4 December 2023

Join us as we launch our new and improved Home Education sessions here at Seven Stories. We have a full day jam-packed with inspiring illustration and creative writing workshops, entertaining storytimes, access to original artwork and manuscripts from our nationally recognised collection of children’s literature. You can explore three levels of exciting galleries, visit our amazing bookshop overflowing with the best children's books, and enjoy our fantastic cafe serving homemade treats! There’s lots to discover here at Seven Stories!

How your ticket works

Your ticket gives you access to one of our story times throughout the day and a brand new story club for under 12’s where we will explore our favourite books, find exciting new titles and create our own stories. Also our Teenage Book Club returns, suitable for 13 years and over. This offers a chance to discuss the big issues that matter from some of your favourite titles and further explore the characters you love!

Your home Ed day ticket also gives you access to a fab book swap on level 2 between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm.

Additional workshops will run throughout the day, they will be a mixture of art, writing and collection. Workshops have limited spaces and must be pre-booked, workshops are priced at £6.50 per child.
