North East artist, BBC radio presenter and author Alfie Joey is here this Half Term! Join in a cartoon drawalong with Alfie based on his book, The Last Coal Miner. 

Children will hear the story, and have fun with Alfie as they learn how to create their own cartoon characters.

About Alfie Joey

Alfie Joey is an artist, cartoonist, children’s illustrator, BBC radio presenter, an event host, a comedian, an actor & keynote speaker! His diverse background (ex-trainee priest and Harrods toy demonstrator) is as broad as his artistic range. His story is told here in hisTed TalkAlfie Joey specialises in drawing caricatures, illustrations for children’s books, and his well-known silhouette series,Northern Skies. He has designed cartoon magazine covers and, for a charity project, illustrated an Elmer elephant covered with cartoons of local TV personalities.

Suitable for ages 7+ and their grown-ups. Children over 8 can attend without an adult.
Tickets are £7.50 each and include entry for one child and one adult.

Event tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable unless cancelled by Seven Stories. This still applies even if you can no longer attend because of illness or self-isolation. Seven Stories reserves the right to amend or cancel events as necessary and will a full refund in case of cancellation.
