Spell Watch

Spell Watch

Tuesdays 3, 17 & 31 August, 11am & 2pm

Thursdays 5 & 19 August, 2 September, 11am & 2pm

Creatures, places, and words disappear, day after day and year on year.

Join our Story Catchers for a nature ramble with a difference. Inspired by Robert MacFarlane and Jackie Morris' book The Lost Spells our Story Catchers will conjure the spirits of the wood to protect the wildlife that visits our urban landscape. With a special map to keep you and the Story Catchers on track you'll explore the Ouseburn Valley and 'craft on the go' with interactive nature activities along the way.

The Lost Spells features in our new exhibition Shifter of Shapes.

Recommended for children 5+ and their grown ups.

Please note the ramble includes flights of steps and uneven ground and is unsuitable for those with access requirements. Sensible footwear and wet weather clothing is advisable

Tickets are £7.50 per person. Everyone must have a ticket (adults and children). There is limited capacity and groups are restricted to maximum of 6.

Tickets must be booked in advance and are non-transferable and non-refundable including for illness or self-isolation.

Seven Stories reserves the right to amend or cancel events as necessary and will offer a full refund in case of cancellation.

All events have been designed to meet the government's current COVID-secure guidance and social distancing will be followed throughout.
