Thank You to the Siobhan Dowd Trust
Since we reopened last month, our visitors have been thoroughly enjoying themselves in our Rhyme Around the World gallery.
This multi-sensory exhibition invites you to step straight into your favourite nursery rhymes, discovering how stories, song and rhyme are shared across generations around the world.
Families have been learning together and exploring with the Professor of Poetry, Pencils, Paper and Paint who is on hand in the gallery to bring rhymes to life.
Within the exhibition there are a series of short films, made possible by funding from the Siobhan Dowd Trust, which were created in partnership with Crossings (http://www.crossings.org.uk), an organisation that supports asylum seekers and refugees to develop and perform music.
