Seven Stories - winner at the North East Charity Awards 2017

We are delighted to announce that Seven Stories has won the Uniquely North East award at the North East Charity Awards 2017.

“The Awards are designed to recognise the hard work and innovative thinking by our local charities and individual fundraisers, whilst also celebrating the local businesses and employees who help to support the work of our charities.”

Seven Stories was shortlisted alongside North East Autism Society and St Oswald’s Hospice with the category recognises home grown charities focused on supporting local communities.

Previous winners include the Percy Hedley Foundation in 2016 and NEPACS (North East Prisoner Family Support in 2015 for their continued, fantastic support in throughout our region.

Judged by a panel of high-profile figures from the business and voluntary sectors the announcement was made at a prestigous awards ceremony on Thursday 28th September at the Boiler Shop, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

We would like to thank organisers The Journal and The Gazette, our fellow nominees (who we were honoured to be shortlisted with) and, finally, our visitors for their continued support.
