The Great Chocoplot…beware the Chocopocalypse!

Local author Chris Callaghan introduces families to his debut children’s book The Great Chocoplot in an author event for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Tuesday 5 April, 2.30pm

Local author Chris Callaghan loves chocolate - who doesn't? He loves chocolate so much his debut novel is literally dripping with the sticky stuff. On Tuesday 5 April at 2.30pm, families are invited to join Chris and listen to him read from his new, chocolate flavoured children’s book The Great Chocoplot. WARNING – beware the impending Chocopocalypse.

Visitors will take part in a lively Q&A, and help Chris make up new chocolatey characters as well as get their chops around some sticky tongue-twisters.  Families can expect lots of chocolatey fun – ideal for the Easter holidays.

The Great Chocoplot is local author Chris Callaghan’s debut novel and the first to be published by Chicken House Publishers following an “Open Coop” call out for unpublished manuscripts.

Chris says, “I'm eggstra eggsited (sorry!) to be visiting my wonderful local independent bookshop and museum - Seven Stories - during the Easter Holidays. There will be readings from my book about a chocolate catastrophe predicted by ancient Easter Egg Islanders. We'll have fun with tongue-twisters and designing our own new chocolate bars. I can't wait!

The Great Chocoplot - is there a Chocopocalypse coming? with Chris Callaghan on Tuesday 5 April, 2.30pm is a free event with admission required to Seven Stories.
