Wands at the Ready - February Half Term is Approaching.

February Half Term is less than three weeks away - why not swot up on your charms and potion recipes before hopping on your Nimbus 3000 to whizz down to Seven Stories for a week of wizarding wonder?

Here's a taster of what to expect...

Saturday 13–Sunday 21 February • Drop in activities

Every day during February Half Term, whether you are a brave Gryffindor, sneaky Slytherin, intelligent Ravenclaw or perhaps a loyal Hufflepuff, Seven Stories has a busy timetable planned. Choose your house colours on arrival and pick up a Report Card at reception. Follow the trail and answer questions before checking in with the Bookshop to see if you have passed. Be enchanted by magical stories which will happen regularly throughout the day. Get creative in the Studio inspired by Jim Kay’s exquisite Harry Potter illustrations and make your own wands, add your face to the Wizard Wanted Wall and create your own Diagon Alley peg doll resident to populate the busy street scene.

Diagon Alley: A World of Wizards Brought to you by Northumbria Drama students • Thursday 18 and Friday 19 February, 1-4pm

Diagon Alley is a bustling, busy street teaming with witches and wizards. Wands, cauldrons, banished books and enchanted mirrors – you can get it all. But have you ever wondered who the wizarding shopkeepers are behind these curious counters? Visitors are invited to join the Northumbria Drama students for the sixth year in their hugely popular partnership with Seven Stories as they bring the streets of Diagon Alley to life.  Families will be entertained around the museum by innovative, pop-up performances as well as enjoying two lively shows set in the heart of Diagon Alley.
