First Class Supply sponsor first schools' visits to new exhibition

First Class Supply sponsor exclusive first look of Michael Morpurgo exhibition for three local schools.

Seven Stories, The National Centre for Children's Books welcomed three local schools - Hexham Middle School, Chillingham Road Primary School and Waverley Primary School - to explore their brand new Michael Morpurgo: A Lifetime in Stories exhibition.  The exclusive visits were made possible by First Class Supply who sponsored the lucky schools to attend pre-launch visits to Seven Stories.

First Class Supply, a leading independent teaching supply agency in the North East, provide invaluable support for Seven Stories through an exclusive education sponsorship programme. The partnership enables Seven Stories to continue to broaden engagement with children in the region.

Director at First Class Supply, Stephanie Boulton says, "We are delighted that through our partnership with Seven Stories, we are able to fund a range of amazing activities and experiences for local schools, local children and their families."

Stephanie continued, "the Michael Morpurgo exhibition, drawn directly from the author’s extensive archive donated to Seven Stories in 2015, will really enhance the learning experience of these first schools and many other lucky pupils!"

It has always been the ethos of First Class Supply to ‘give something back’ to the local community.  Since the launch of the exclusive partnership, literally hundreds of local school children have benefitted, enjoying events and activities such as ‘Authors into Schools’, Poetry Roadshows, ‘Reading for Pleasure’ workshops, ‘Hooks into Books’ and visits to Seven Stories.
