The Sad Book by Michael Rosen

When author Michael Rosen's son Eddie died in 1999 he was overwhelmed with sadness. It was a terrible tragedy. Eventually, Michael was able to feel moments of happiness again by remembering fun times like birthdays and splashing in the rain. He wrote The Sad Book to help everyone understand grief. We are lucky enough to have the manuscript in our Collection.

To help him cope, Michael tries to think of one good thing that he has done each day. Something that he is proud of. What have you done today that made you proud?
