Rebecca Cobb grew up surrounded by coloured pencils, felt pens, wax crayons, poster paints and pieces of paper. She studied illustration at Falmouth School of Art and graduated in 2004.  Rebecca was twice shortlisted for the prestigious CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal, and won the Waterstone’s Children’s Picture Book Prize in 2013 with her book Lunchtime (Macmillan Children’s Books).

In addition to writing her own books Rebecca has also collaborated with writers Julia Donaldson, Richard Curtis, Nicola Davies and Helen Dunmore. Rebecca lives in Cornwall with her husband and two young daughters.
