Thank you for your continuing support during these challenging times. We have loved welcoming you back to Seven Stories and seeing familiar faces as well as new ones, as we develop new exciting products and new ways of delivering our storytelling.

We are now facing the prospect of another national lockdown from Thursday 5th November and want to share with you our plans for continuing our work.  The magic of Seven Stories will carry on throughout this lockdown, with a host of online events, book recommendations and resources to support families.  Our vital work with schools and communities will also continue, empowering children and young people to understand their world and imagine their future.

Don’t forget our Coffee Shop is still open for takeaway, so come along and pick-up hot drinks and snacks as you wander round the Ouseburn Valley. Also, while you are out and about, why not pick up a map and try our exciting new Winter Trail, for all budding detectives to discover hidden secrets of the Valley!

Whilst we are unable to welcome you in to Seven Stories at this time, we have adapted to the changes and we can now bring you ‘Takeaway Seven Stories’ - our brand new click & collect offer.   Enjoy our delicious Themed Afternoon Teas and Winter Picnics along with a choice of recommended books for all of the family to enjoy!  Watch this space for new inventive ways of keeping you connected to Seven Stories.

Find out more about our Themed Afternoon Teas here.

If you hold a booking for any events during the lockdown period, you don’t need to miss out! We still want you to enjoy the Seven Stories experience, with story-themed packages and specially created digital storytimes, where our amazing Story Catchers will host live performances online for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

If you have made a booking for an event, we will contact you with further details about how to access your digital event. Or, if you would prefer, please contact us to arrange a credit for a future event or a refund.

If you are an annual passholder, we will be offering the option of a refund for the unusable period of your pass from February 2020.  We are however currently developing an alternative exciting discount scheme which we hope you will find attractive. We will be in contact with you over the next few weeks with further details about this.

Once again, thank you for your valued support during these difficult times.  We have thoroughly enjoyed your company, and look forward to seeing you again when we reopen on December 2nd  - just in time for our Christmas celebrations soon to be open for bookings on our website.
