We're celebrating being awarded a coveted ‘Best Told Story’ award from tourism body VisitEngland

The Centre was given the prestigious recognition as the judges felt Seven Stories visitors left the venue having thoroughly enjoyed an entertaining and interesting visit. The accolade followed a VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme assessment and is seen as a testament to the high standards achieved by our fantastic team.

Wendy Elliott, Interim Chief Executive Officer at Seven Stories said, “This award is really fantastic and we are delighted to receive it. Our team members work so hard to ensure every single visitor to the centre has a wonderful and memorable time – so this is testimony to their dedication and passion.

"Naturally the past 18 months have been a challenging time for tourism, attractions and all venues – especially in the Arts. So to receive this feather in our cap is very rewarding. Plus, Best Told Story couldn’t be more appropriate!”, added Wendy.

VisitEngland director Andrew Stokes said: “I’m so pleased to see our visitor attractions back in the spotlight with these accolades that recognise the amazing experiences available across the country.

"They also acknowledge the people who bring the attractions to life through their unparalleled customer service. They are the ones who make an attraction the most ‘welcoming’ and give life to the ‘Best Told Story’.
