In May 2019, First Class Supply became the exclusive education sponsors of our Authors into Schools programme.

The sponsorship enables Whitley Bay-based First Class Supply, the North East's leading independent Supply Teaching Agency, to bring authors and illustrators into the classroom for exciting sessions to inspire and enthuse North East children about writing, creativity and reading for pleasure. Children will also benefit from 20 funded outreach sessions and workshops to be delivered in schools across the year.

Steph Boulton, Director of First Class supply said “Not only are we delighted to continue our ongoing partnership with Seven Stories,  we are also very excited to be involved in this inspirational project, which cements the fifth year of our relationship with our support of this fantastic initiative. We are thrilled that by working in partnership with Seven Stories, First Class Supply can help facilitate authors into schools to inspire young readers in our community.”

Seven Stories has enjoyed a history of support from First Class Supply since Autumn 2014, which has provided invaluable support helping us to deliver regular outreach work in schools and to continue to broaden engagement with children in the region. Seven Stories Business Development Manager John Beattie said: “We are delighted to be enhancing our partnership with First Class Supply, who continue to demonstrate their genuine commitment to enhancing the opportunities available to school children in the North East.”
