Looking for fun activities to keep your little ones entertained? We’ve got so much in store at Seven Stories to keep kids of all ages entertained, a specialist bookshop brimming with books and a cosy cafe to kick back in too.

Easter has arrived in Ouseburn, and to celebrate we’ve invited some very special and extremely fluffy guests to Seven Stories! Don’t miss our exciting Storytime with Ouseburn Farm, where fluffy friends will be hopping over to join us for stories and cuddles.

If you’re after more farm fun, make sure to join us down on Rosie’s farm for a fun-filled re-telling of the classic tale Rosie's Walk by Pat Hutchins. Can Rosie make it back home? Or will the sneaky fox outwit her? Get set for an awesome storytime session full of songs and fun to get the whole family moving. After your session you'll have earned a drink in our Coffee Shop and a browse of the picture books in our bookshop!

Hop into the spring spirit with Caryl Hart, author of the beautiful new picture book Thank You for the Little Things. Join her for a creative workshop to explore the little things that make YOU feel happy. With games, stories and a joint activity to create fun heart-shaped seed sheets to plant in your garden, this session is guaranteed to make you and your little one smile.

Meet the hungriest tiger we know! Join us to celebrate the wonderful world of Judith Kerr in this interactive storytime, suitable for all the family. You’ll make your very own tiger, visit Sophie and her Mummy just in time for tea, and see just how hungry that tiger really is!

Have you heard? Mog is back and she’s brought her friends too! Help Mog the Forgetful Cat and Friends to save the day as you embark on a forgetful but unforgettable storytime adventure, jampacked with smiles, laughter and activities to get you moving.

If you want to get moving this Easter, we’ve got you covered too. Our entrancing Northern Ballet’s ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ Dance Storytime is perfect for under 5s and will get grown-ups moving too! The inspiring 1-hour session takes you on an amazing adventure to Maurice Sendak’s fantasy island. Guided by the Northern Ballet, expect music, inventive storytelling, interactive activities and relaxation for children and adults alike!

Finally, if you fancy something a little more relaxing, why not wind down your weekend with Storytime Yoga, hosted by children’s yoga teacher Beccy. Themed around children’s picture books, including stretching, music and games, each session is a fantastic way to relax with all the family.
