Throughout the Easter Holidays, Seven Stories will be celebrating the launch of our new exhibition, Time to Get Up, though a host of events and activities across the building. Families can unleash their creativity in Time to Illustrate, curl up together in the Attic for family story times linked to the new exhibition and go on a musical story adventure, and get down with a good old boogie woogie in Time to Get Up and Get Down. Time to go out for an Adventure

Tuesday 3rd, Thursday 5th, Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th April at 1pm

We're off out on adventure and we'd love you to come with us. Join one of our expert Story Catchers for an extra special Story Time event out and about!

Time to Share a Story

Friday 30th March to Sunday 15th April, 10.30am/1pm/3.30pm

Head to the Attic for family Storytimes linked to our new exhibition, Time to Get Up. We'll be exploring all the themes with the added surprise of time-themed challenges and games!

Go on a musical story adventure and get down with a good old boogie woogie! Toddle waddle and dance along to our favourite songs and stories in a super sensory session for Under 4's and their grown-ups.

Time to Illustrate

Saturday 31st March, Tuesday 3rd, Thursday 5th, Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Tuesday 10th, Thursday 12th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April at 2.30pm

Dip your toe in the world of illustration and explore highlights of our Collection that show how real illustrators make their work. Have a go yourself and try out a variety of methods to create effects similar to original artwork that you can see in our new exhibition.

Time to Create!

Our studio is the perfect place for families to draw, paint, write, make, doodle and build together. Be inspired by the picture books in our new exhibition and get creative with a range of techniques and activities.

All day. For all the family, free with entry to the Visitor Centre.

 

Time to Get Up Mini Spotlight Tour

Friday 30th March to Sunday 15th April, all day

Look out for Story Catchers popping up in the gallery to give mini spotlight tours of our brand new exhibition Time to Get Up. Listen out for tannoy announcements or keep a look out in the gallery.

You’ll find some brilliant craft activities in our Bookshop on Level 1 and the whole family can enjoy a delicious menu in our Café on Level 2 throughout half term!
