UKYA Extravaganza: Morning Event Children's authors and illustrators

Saturday 17th September

Venue: Newcastle City Library, Berwick Hall

Newcastle City Library will be bouncing with the biggest authors of children’s and YA books in a mega all-day event. Listen to energetic panel talks and ask your burning questions; meet your favourite authors and swipe goodies from the well-stocked swag.  Keep refreshing our social media for the announcement of which authors will be attending. 

Don't miss 45 top children's and Young Adult authors and illustrators including local authors Dan Smith (Big Game), Bea Davenport (The Serpent House) and Leo Hunt (13 Days of Midnight), as well as Ways to Live Forever author Sally Nicholls, illustrator of the first ever Harry Potter cover Thomas Taylor and emerging talent such as James Nicol (The Apprentice Witch) and Jane Brittan (The Edge of Me).

Tickets cost £3 per person for both the morning and afternoon events. Make the most of our ticket bundle at £5 per person and gain entry to both events.

The event will be held in the Berwick Hall at City Library.  You must print off your ticket and bring this with you or show on smart phone.
