The Theatricality of Dahl. Spotlight on the Collection with David Wood

David Wood has written more than 70 plays for children, which are performed worldwide. Join the Olivier award-winning writer as he talks about Dahl, the master storyteller, and the craft of turning his stories into plays.
David has adapted eight Roald Dahl Classics for theatre including The BFG, The Witches, The Twits, Fantastic Mr Fox, and James and the Giant Peach.
There will also be the opportunity to see some of David’s archive which is held in the Seven Stories Collection, followed by an ‘in conversation’ piece with Collection Director Sarah Lawrance.
