We are waving a fond farewell to The Gruffalo and friends this week as our popular exhibition, A Squash and a Squeeze, Sharing Stories with Julia Donaldsoncomes to an end. Take one last stroll in the deep, dark wood and join in with stories, workshops and more as we celebrate everything we love about Julia Donaldson. Things are going to get messy as you add your mark to our BIG picture which has taken over the Creation Station floor!

This popular exhibition has been enjoyed by thousands of visitors since it opened in March 2012. Find out how Julia wrote modern classics such as The Gruffalo, Princess Mirror-Belle and The Troll and explore original artwork by her many illustrators, most famously Axel Scheffler.

Free event, no booking required. Admission fee to centre applies.
