About the awards...

The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery funded projects. Lottery players raise £25 million each week for Good Causes and the Awards are a great way to highlight how the funding has changed the UK for the better.

About Seven Stories...

Seven Stories received Lottery funding to open our exciting visitors centre in the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle, helping us to share the joy of children’s books with people of all ages.

Seven Stories is competing against two other projects in the Best Education Project category for the chance to win the award and a £2,000 prize.

Seven Stories will be featured on a special awards show on 30th August on BBC1.
