Why Visit?
Books have power. They wrap us in words and ideas, take us to different places and let us try out different lives. And while we're carried away by a story, books are working hard to turn us into people who think and talk, imagine and create.
Whatever age you teach, from pre-school children to young adults Seven Stories can provide your class with a unique experience with our range of offers; each one designed to explore a number of subjects across the National Curriculum and Key Stages in creative and imaginative ways.
Here at Seven Stories, we recognise the potential that story has for allowing learners to explore subjects and issues in a cross curricular, collaborative and creative way.
From exhibitions of original artwork and manuscripts to hands-on activities and the chance to meet and talk to authors and illustrators, we offer approaches to books and reading that will engage different learning styles, motivate children to extend their reading and encourage them to express their own creativity through writing, drawing and other art forms.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff offer programmes that are developed to compliment the National Curriculum from Foundation right up to A level.
Supported by visiting performers and featuring sessions with well-known authors and illustrators for children, our programme is exciting and varied, and we look forward to welcoming you and your class to Seven Stories.
