Visits to Seven Stories
Self-Led Visits - Group rates are available to organisations wishing to bring families to the centre for a self-led visit. Take part in our daily drop-in activities, enjoy storytimes and visit our world-class interactive exhibitions. This visit is not facilitated by a member of staff but making a group booking allows us to prepare for your visit. A packed lunch area and bookshop visit may also be scheduled by advanced request, subject to availability.
Family Learning Visits - During our family learning offer, parents/carers and their children have fun engaging in story sharing activities inspired by the books featured in our exhibitions. This session is inclusive and focuses on pictures to tell stories, is 2 hours long and costs £3.95 per person.
Seven Stories at your place
Families Reading Together is a programme of workshops in your school combined with visits to Seven Stories for parents and carers, with some sessions including their children. The programme aims to raise the confidence of parents and carers in sharing books with their children and encourages them to bring reading for pleasure into the everyday routine at home. Families discover the joy and pleasure of sharing high quality children’s books together through this creative and active course that is accessible to all ages, generations and literacy levels.
