The Next Chapter

The Seven Stories collection is still growing rapidly. Far more work has been promised than we have yet been able to accommodate. Over the coming months and years we expect to be bringing in work by authors including Helen Cresswell, Berlie Doherty, Terry Jones and Ursula Moray Williams; and artwork by illustrators including Helen Cooper, Ted Dewan and Jan Pienkowski.

We are gradually cataloguing and preserving all the work in our collection so that it can be made available for exhibitions, education programmes and research. Catalogue records will be placed on-line and research access to original material will be provided.

Our collection is already too large to be kept in the main Seven Stories building. Instead, much of the work is being stored off-site, at the University of Newcastle, until we are able to build our own Seven Stories store and study centre.
